Hello, I’m Richard, I live between Surrey in England and southern Spain and became a counsellor, psychotherapist and psychosexual and relationship therapist in my mature years after a career in the design world in London. Searching for balance, fulfillment and meaning in life has always aroused my curiosity. Engaging in this journey of self development, I realised my personal and human potential IF we look inside and get to know our true selves as best we can.

We are all to some extent dominated by patterns from childhood and traumatic experiences yet we all have possibilities to move on with our lives.

Professionally I am a BACP Accredited counsellor/psychotherapist and COSRT Accredited psychosexual and relationship therapist working with adult individuals and couples in Estepona, Malaga and virtually in London and worldwide. I work long and short term with clients on a wide range of mental health and sexual and relationship issues.

In the UK I have counselled at Kingston University, Surrey County Council and several agencies in central London. I have now been in private practice for over 17 years, including Harley Street, London’s centre for medical excellence.

I have a wide international client base and range of experience with adult men and women of all ages, ethnic and cultural backgrounds and sexualities. I practice in the English language but have a good understanding of Portuguese and Spanish.

My work is bound by a code of ethics as required by the BACP (The British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy), COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists) and the NCP (International Council of Psychotherapists). I am in clinical supervision and attend regular professional development workshops to enhance abilities to work with specific issues and I am fully insured.
